Yvette isn’t the only Patton to own a Christmas based business… her husband Jeff Patton does as well! In fact, Jeff owns and operates an east Dallas institution: Patton’s Christmas Trees. Patton’s is the oldest family owned & operated Christmas tree lot in Dallas (& possibly Texas!) If you stop by Patton’s, you’ll likely meet three Jeff Pattons: Jeff Patton, Sr., his son Jeff Patton Jr., and his grandson, Jeffrey Patton III (or JP3). Speaking of generations: over the last 50 years, Jeff has gotten to know his loyal customers pretty well and has sold trees to multiple generations of their families. He looks forward to seeing them every year… and every year after Thanksgiving, residents of Lakewood look forward to seeing his iconic blue and white striped tent pop up in the Lakewood Village Shopping Center at Mockingbird & Abrams, because it means that Christmas is just around the corner!
The Patton’s are lifelong Dallas residents who love their community. They enjoy spending time with their children, grandchildren and the rest of their family. And if you’re wondering why so much of their focus is on Christmas – they have a couple of solid reasons: Faith and Family. Their love and appreciation for the holiday is year-round.
